apparently I'm a vegetable...
Feb. 20th, 2010 12:10 pmArgh! What is it with British health-care professionals finding it so difficult to find a vein? I needed to have my blood taken pre-admission and I ended up feeling like a pin-cushion - I now have not one, not two, but five needlemarks: one on each hand and three on my left arm. I look like a drug addict!
And to think that this time last year I was all giddy with the anticipation of going to Paris and seeing Banlieue 13 Ultimatum for the first time. Now what do I have to look forward to? Having my gallbladder removed. Not quite the same...
Of course finally seeing the film did turn out to be a somewhat painful experience, so maybe I shouldn't complain? ;-)
