Nov. 7th, 2008 07:38 pmOk, that B13 Ultimatum filming diary? Is the best way to promote a film I've ever seen. Episode 5 has been uploaded today and it's all about David and Cyril doing their first scene together. By the look of things the sequel is well on its way to outslash the original. There's a scene, for example, in which Damien and Leito duck behind a wall after being shot at and talk with their heads maybe 10 centimeters apart. Or rather Leito talks while Damien looks at his eyes, looks at his lips, looks at his eyes, looks at his lips, looks at his eyes... Cue in myself yelling at my computer: "SNOG ALREADY!!!!!"
There are also some behind the scenes interviews, and I have to say it's adorable to see David stressing out about acting when he can jump a 20 meter gap without so much as batting an eyelash ;-)
And since I'm on the subject of the filming diary, episode 4 was about shooting a scene in which Leito was wearing :gasp: long sleeves. The sleeves belonged to a half-unzipped hoodie, though, so most of his chest was still visible. That leads me to believe that the eye-candy clause Luc Besson must have put in David's contract requires him to show at least two tattoos at any given time (Way to go, Luc! Two thumbs up from me!) ;-)

Date: 2008-11-14 12:41 am (UTC)Haha, I've been taking French since September and I still had no clue about most of what was said. Not that that affects the visuals any ;) I really wish I was fluent so I could see the second movie un-dubbed this time, but that's not going to happen. >.>
And B13:U better not take years to reach the States, or I'm headed over there, haha. The closest thing coming is like Transporter 3, and that just doesn't compare. >:)

Date: 2008-11-14 07:57 am (UTC)I hear you about B13:U being released outside of France. That's why I intend to pop over to Paris for a day in February to see the film (if not understand it ;-)), because I just won't be able to bear waiting for a version I can comprehend.
