Bright Shiny Morning
Jul. 31st, 2008 09:15 pmHeh, you know how you say that you could listen to an actor read a telephone book? Well, I've just listened to Ben Foster reciting the list of a gun shop customers and their purchases, and it was utterly brilliant. What's even better, I have another 77 10-minute long sound files to go. Bliss...
Thank you,
baggyeyes, once again for telling me that Ben did the "Bright Shiny Morning" audio-book!
Thank you,

Date: 2008-08-02 01:59 am (UTC)Let me know how the book is (without giving away major plot points). I may see if I can but it when I can afford it. The book, not the CDs. No way I afford that.

Date: 2008-08-03 06:43 pm (UTC)I liked the book, it wasn't a masterpiece, but it was good enough. I thought some of the stories were too stereotypical, but the facts were interesting, and I did cry once or twice, and laughed out loud several times. (Mind you, some of the laughing could be due to Ben, he does an absolutely perfect 'European reporter' accent, and Russian accent, and surfer dude accent).
