The best gif comment on the trailer I've seen:

Hee, indeed :-)

And here are two gifs celebrating the awesomeness of the Mjolnir slam:

Hell yeah!

I can't wait for more footage and stills. We still haven't seen Adewale, for example. I wonder if he'll be recognizable at all under the make-up. And will he be wearing a tiny hat at an impossible angle? Enquiring minds want to know ;-)

LMAO Dzięki. Przydał mi się ten uśmiech z samego rana, kiedy jestem jedną z mniej więcej 50% Polaków którzy dzisiaj musieli przyjść do pracy. Na szczęście od jutra wolność na 3 dni. Yay! :)

Hehe, the dear brothers might be at odds, but they still go to the same hairdresser...

*flails* It's going to be amazing!

Heh, well, I actually like Thor's hair in the trailer. Loki's.. not so much ;-)

I do hope the film will turn out great! I would have had more confidence if Kenneth Branagh was still directing, but so far everything looks good, so I am cautiously excited (if that's possible) :-)

Thor's hair definitely looks good *sighs happily*. As for Loki's, I... yeah, not so much :-D

I'm quite excited, but I too wish it'd be Branagh directing, he's such a great storyteller (Whedon would be an acceptable alternative for me). I just hope they manage to keep that... balance, for the lack of a better word, between them, this love-hate relationship, without turning Thor into being all soppy over baby brother and without turning Loki into an one-dimensional super-villain.

To be honest I'm not that worried about the dynamic between Thor and Loki, because it was such an acclaimed part of both "Thor's" and the "Avengers'" success that TPTB would never dare mess with it. The smaller details that I loved about the first film, though, are very much in danger. Like turning the futuristic Asgard into a medieval village, for example. Or the treatment of female characters. I'm worried I might end up hating the sequel because of things like that.

Oh, please, no! Now you gave me something to worry about (and since it's the Game of Thrones director... argh!)! They won't do that. No.

I am totally with you re. the female characters - I still hope that Jane will play a crucial part, plot-wise, and not serve as the damsel in distress whose only function is to be saved by the omg!hero; and I'm really dreading a bitchfight between Sif and Jane. I so hate it when they reduce female characters, even warrior-godesses like Sif, to the romance arc. (Generally, I don't need a romantic subplot in an action movie...)
