let's try a numbered post for a change...
Jun. 20th, 2010 07:18 pm1) I made use of the fact that I'm currently in Poland and went to vote in the presidential election today. Too bad I won't be here for the second round (it's highly unlikely any of the candidates will get over 50% of votes), because there's no way I'm going queue for hours to cast my vote back in the UK.
2) I have to say the fanfiction meme (gacked from
kabal42) is eerily accurate, at least in my case:

Nothing too earth-shattering, but there are some interesting bits. For example here's David's take on the injury during B13U filming:
The doctor told me I had to rest for a week, but the next day it seemed like the stitches were holding so we started on the roof again.
Ah, well, if the stitches seemed to be holding, then I guess it's all right...
Also, I couldn't quite believe that in the first interview they actually stated where David lives (and, by extension, Cyril). It makes sense that he didn't move too far away from Lisses, though.

Your result for The Fan Fiction Personality Test...
The True Fan
OOC is blasphemy, canon is everything.
Once you fall in love with a movie, book or TV series, you are loyal like an old dog. You take fanfiction quite serious and use it as a substitute after the canon ran out.
You are probably a walking dictionary of your favourite fandom and you are picky about what you write and read. The closer to the "real thing" fanfiction is, the more you like it.
You rather explore a character in all depth, see new sides and learn more about them than creating new characters or mix up the situations they are in.
