Weekend!!!
Feb. 20th, 2009 06:47 pmI can hardly believe THE weekend is finally here!
Right, so:
Euros - check
Passport - check
Eurostar tickets - check
directions to cinema - printed
cinema timetable - printed (I should be able to squeeze in two and a half viewings - I'll have to leave before the third seance ends to catch my train back)
Wheee!!!!!
In a related story, look what I've found attached surreptitiously to the entry in David's blog about the Canal+ interview with Luc Besson:

Has Luc Besson adopted David or something? First he wrote a film for him (two in fact), then his production company chipped in for the organisation of the New Yorker Jam in 2007, and now he's giving David a piece of Paris to train in undisturbed?! And how awesome is it that it's department 93, just where banlieue 13 is supposed to be? :-) Also, woo hoo! David finally did it - there will be a place designed especially for parkour! As per Stephane Vigroux they had all the plans for a parkour park ready back in the late 1990s, and even after the various rifts and splits it was the one thing David, Sebastien and the Yamakasi all agreed on and tried to achieve - a place for their sport. And now, finally, David got it :weeps:
Hee, I expect the inhabitants of Lisses and Evry must be overjoyed ;-)

Date: 2009-02-21 08:43 am (UTC)I heard only one débat on TPS Star (recorded), where advices were various. Some wouldn't hear from the movie (a French action-only movie, bah!) and another one said that at least, he wasn't bored for a minute, which is a good thing when watching a movie! So he recommended it warmly for people under 16 ROTFL
He said the theater was at its full, with (young) people even sitting down in the alleys.
