Seven days to go!
Feb. 13th, 2009 10:44 pmJust one more week to wait before I see B13U! The promotion campaign is in full swing now - AlloCiné is being updated practically every day with new interviews and behind the scenes clips. They've uploaded one devoted to David a few days ago and I just can't stop going "Awwww!" over it:
How is it possible that someone who routinely inspires googly eyed admiration in others can remain so shy and adorable?! I mean, listening to him in the "Making of" from the first film you'd think he wandered onto the set accidentally, and not, you know, had the film written for him in the first place. And here he is four years later with pretty much the same attitude, all impressed that on the very first day of shooting they had bombs going off, or (in another clip devoted to the filming itself), that they actually have some proper actors. LOL!
The first reviews of B13U are also starting to trickle in and it appears that Damien is indeed dressed up as a hooker and doing striptease at some point. Hee!
In not so good news, one reviewer claims that David is underused. I really really hope that's an exaggeration.
I've also come across a mention that an American remake of B13 is being considered, which is hilarious in so many ways :-)

In other news, in yesterday's episode of a film news program on the French Canal+ called L'Hebdo Cinema they had an interview with Luc Besson and with David. I have been frantically checking all possible online sources trying to find any footage, but while the Luc Besson part is available here and there, the bit with David is not. The universe, it mocks me :-(
