I watched "United 93" yesterday. Man, did it suck. And it was one tiny detail that spoilt what would have otherwise been a great film - the antics of the distinctively European sounding passenger Greengrass couldn't resist but include. When the guy was saying everything would be allright, it was fair enough. When he was saying that they shouldn't do anything, I rolled my eyes, but it was still ok. But when he tried to warn the terrorrists about the planned attack, the film lost any last shred of credibility. I'm sorry Mr. Greengrass, but beating the audience about the head and shoulders with an anvil is not something a reputable director should ever do. So shut up.
