Happy Christmas!

I hope you're all having a great day stuffing yourselves silly! (Well, maybe not as silly as myself - after all the carp and red borshch I've consumed since yesterday I can barely move. I'm pretty certain I've eaten more carp than Tom Felton can ever hope to catch ;-) )

In case you'll find yourselves bored, however, check out Mother of Pearl. It's Draco/Harry, it utterly breaks my Lucius/Draco-loving heart, and it has an ending so beautiful it made me like Harry. Go read, seriously :sniff:

I really liked Mother of Pearl, too. I had some issues with the ending, though -- not sure it was really plausible or in character -- but the sentiment behind it made me want to cuddle Harry. But then again, I almost always want to do that. *g*

Yeah, it was the cuddling bit that won me over - I was crying my eyes out for Lucius and Draco, and then Harry went and did something so sweet. I don't think it was OOC, because I felt Harry's conversation with Ron and his later realization how the memory removal did make Ron far happier than he used to be were a sufficient set-up for Harry's actions with Draco. I'm just not sure removing just the 23 minutes would work - when Draco went about getting rid of the memory himself, he completely erased anything that would clue him in on what he'd done, to the point that even the Ministry didn't have any info.

Still, it was a very enjoyable read :-)
