News started popping up about the Metal Hurlant TV show. It's a bit odd, considering that the news are about how it's not going to be finished until 2012, but hey, it's good to at least hear something... Apparently it's already been pre-sold to 20 territories including Poland, so I know I will get my hands on the episode with David Belle at some point :-)
In other news, Hawaii 5-O has finally started being aired in the UK. I like it so far, although I have to say I would have loved the bickering far more if it was the least bit believable. It's just actors saying lines they're not particularly invested in, though. Too bad, I used to think Alex O'Loughlin was a better actor than that (I don't know Scott Caan).
I've even joined a Hawaii 5-O fic community - it's insane, there are, like, 10 stories a day posted! I hardly know what to do with myself ;-)
Admittedly, my prefered pairing is Steve McGarrett/Chin Ho Kelly, and there are maybe five stories about them, so I haven't managed to break my habit of going for the most obscure fandoms/pairings. Still, I don't hate Danny yet, so reading Steve/Danny is acceptable.
I also finally bought Prince of Persia bluray only to discover that all the press articles about the various versions and their respective special features were complete lies - not only does my double play pack have all the bonuses that were supposedly only available on the triple pack, but the additional DVD has the short version of the making of which includes the entire two minutes devoted to David's contribution to the film. So I guess the triple pack is £7 extra just for the digital copy? Bizarre.
Almost as bizarre as Paul being released on a Monday. What's up with that? It's not like it's a rom-com that could use Valentine's Day release date for publicity...
