a week in a nutshell
Oct. 29th, 2006 10:47 amLast weekend I got to go to Snape's on Friday, and then went to Sam's and Lucy's (BTW, their flat is just as gorgeous as on the pictures, if not more so) for a night of drinking and merriment. It was great to see everyone (even
wheatgerm was there! And
pitchblackrose!), as I didn't get a chance to t00b for quite some time now. For the record,
melusinahp's boots rock beyond words, and
son_of_darkness's short hair looks very good, don't believe him when he says otherwise. I hope those who went are having a great time in Hogsmeade now!
I got the Pets expansion pack for the sims and managed to have Fenrir turned into a werewolf. He then promptly savaged Remus, who is now a werewolf as well. Heh, they're both cute ;-)
I retract my previous statement about the lack of slash in "Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay". Although Riddick and Johns sadly did not fuck, the did have the slashiest cutscene in which they fought and then ended up lying next to each other bleeding profusely, reassuring each other that their injuries are not fatal, and Johns said: "I've almost thought today was the day [...], the day one of us finally killed the other". Guh, their love is so pure ;-)
Speaking of Riddick and Johns, I bought a special edition of "Pitch Black" which was enriched with some additional features, one of which is Johns' chase log, detailing the two months it took him to recapture Riddick after the escape from Butcher Bay. It includes a priceless moment in which Johns says that he's now seeing "the goggled bastard" whenever he closes his eyes and starts to drift. SQUEEE!
In other news, my mother and my aunt are currently visiting, so I get to revisit London's most famous sights under the guise of serving as their guide. I love London! :satisfied sigh:

Date: 2006-10-29 10:53 am (UTC)His har does look okay short doesn't it? Better than the mop he had been sporting, at any rate, lol. Perhaps my opinion doesn't count though, since I like Dan's OotP hair too XD
And it was so lovely seeing you too! I'm so sorry I conked out in the middle of the night and failed to wake up and say goodbye :( Next time, don't be afraid to shake/poke/kick me back into consciousness :P
Have fun traipsing round London - lord knows how many times I've been to visit now, and never really seen any of it except the route to Snape's (which I still don't remember) so I do kinda envy you actually :D

Date: 2006-10-29 11:49 am (UTC)Kye's hair definitely looks better short, Dan's not so much. I don't think it's hideous in OotP or anything, but he simply looked better in PoA and GoF.
Nah, you looked like you needed sleep, particularly since you were having a lot of plans for Saturday :-)
Ooh, you haven't been sightseeing in London yet? That has to be remedied! It's such a beautiful city! I volunteer to serve as a guide, but as I'm not a particularly good host (not actually living in London and all), you'll be probably better off to ask one of the Londoners for a tour.
