Playing "Chronicles of Riddick" reminded me of all the slashy films in which Vin Diesel played: "Pitch Black" ("Mr. Johns, blue-eyed devil."), "The Fast and the Furious" ("You belong to him now."), and the slashiest one of all, "Knockaround Guys."

"Knockaround Guys" is a really cool mob movie, about how a son of one of the most powerful New York mafia bosses tries to prove himself capable of following in his father's footsteps with the help of his three similarly connected friends. One of those friends is very special, though - he and the main character are very close, they share a hotel room, they care about each other... And in the end they decide not to live the mafia life after all and leave together, romantically driving off into the... ok, so it's not exactly the sunset, but it's romantic, dammit!

The second slashiest movie I own is "The Forsaken." It's an obscure, not very good, horror movie about vampires. The main character drives through several states for some inane reason and on the way meets a hitchhiker. They don't seem to get along very well at first, but then as things turn spooky, they bond. It turns out the hitchhiker is hunting for a vampire because he's been bitten and killing the vamp that did it is his only way of curing himself. The main character ends up helping him, taking care of him when the hitchhiker gets really sick from the bite, and when the two of them encounter a very pretty girl, who is also a victim of the vamp, neither one of them is particularly interested in her. What makes it just this side of being a gay movie, though, is the ending. After the final showdown the main character ends up in a hospital. When he wakes up he says goodbye to the girl without batting an eyelash, but freaks out when he discovers the hitchhiker is gone (not without a word, though, he left a letter [awww] explaining that it wasn't his vamp after all so he's off hunting again). What does the main character do then? Why, he leaves everything and starts chasing all over the country for the hitchhiker, only to drive with him off into the (again, not quite ) sunset when he finally finds him three months later.

Right, so what are the slashiest movies you recommend?
