Contrary to what my previous Thursday posts might have indicated my favourite scene in Thor, and one I have rewatched the most, is in fact the one in which Thor goes to retrieve Mjolnir, and the interrogation and meeting with Loki that follow. No matter how many times I've seen it now I can't help being awed by Chris Hemsworth's performance. You can actually see in his eyes Thor's heart break into tiny little pieces that crumble even further when Loki all but steps on them. It's just unbelievable. So here's Thor in pain:
