Woohoo! I'm on holiday! Two weeks of blissfully not doing anything at all other than reading the Avengers fic :-) And maybe going to the cinema, since there will be not one, not two, but three films with Chris Hemsworth being shown simultaneously...

Speaking of - it's Thursday, so I figure some Thor appreciation is in order:

Guh, that scene... I don't even... It's like surprise porn in the middle of a perfectly family-friendly film.



Why oh why does he have to wear armour most of the time?! I vote on Thor's Avenger outfit to be redesigned into something more like what The Hulk wears...



Seriously, the tactical advantage of throwing your opponents into lust-addled daze should not be underestimated!

SWATH, Avengers... what's the third? The Cabin in the Woods? I just checked release dates on that, we get it in -- wait for it --

August.

together with Germany. I mean, what the hell? the only country it opens in even later is Argentinia (September) according to IMDB. This whole distribution/release mechanism keeps being a mystery for me.

Yep, it's "Cabin in the Woods". Considering the film has been filmed three years ago the distribution is particularly wonky in this case... It's worth waiting for, though, it's fun!

Heh, Clint/Thor is probably my favourite pairing, both because they're my two favourite characters, and because of the dynamic between them. The kind of "I'm kinky and you're a god, let's have some fun" attitude that's extremely hot, but also refreshing, and seems somewhat rooted in canon. After all what little there is of their reactions to one another consist of Hawkeye observing Thor tearing through SHIELD agents standing between him and Mjolnir and going: "I'm beginning to root for this guy!" after Thor engages in some mud wrestling ;-)

Too bad there are only a handful of fics out there at the moment...

Really? I haven't joined any comms or anything. There seems to be plenty considering the film just came out!
We've already got 3 crossover fics with Primeval at my usual hangout :D

There's loads of Avengers fic, but only a handful of Clint/Thor stories. There are new ones every couple of days, though, so that gives me hope :-)
