You know you're obsessed with Banlieue 13 when, after reading an interview with David in which he refers to Cyril as being "like a sponge", you amuse yourself on the way from work by coming up with the funniest things David could have meant:

- soft and squishy?
- he leaks when you squeeze him?
- you can't take a bath without him?

Hee, reading porny stuff into the things David and Cyril say about each other is a bit of a hobby of mine. Most of the time you don't even have to try too hard. And then there are the things that they do, like hovering on top of each other... ;-)

lol and they probably kiss on the cheek and stuff too; isn't that a frenchy thing to do? ;P

Oh, totally! And they give each other clothes (or at least Cyril gave David an Incredible Hulk hoodie); and now that they live close to each other they must be hanging out together all the time :-)

Oh yeah, David's moved to Paris fairly recently (I think about two years ago). But upon being introduced to each other David and Cyril ~~eloped~~ travelled to Thailand together :-)

that's so cute though. Cyril must've been sad when Dave was away for PoP filming

Apparently the PoP filming was going on at the same time as B13U filming, so David was going to London to work on PoP whenever he got time off from B13U. Which is sad, because it means he couldn't have been hanging around the set when Cyril was filming the night club scenes ;-)

wow i didn't know those two movies were so chronologically close. it seemed like B13U came out a while ago and they just started PoP a little before now..

Yeah, PoP had a year and a half of post-production, while B13U only had a few months. That's because there are all those CGI effects in PoP that needed a lot of polishing.

man, i can't wait for that movie!! ><
and i can't wait/hope for another B13 movie! SO BAD

:sigh: I know. I really wish we got B13 3 with David and Cyril. I remember when the promo pics for B13U were first released myself,

left_sider were brainstorming about the one with Damien and Leïto with their backs to each other and we figured the reason they were so close was that they were handcuffed together. Even since then I've been dying for a scene like that, the two of them fighting enemies while being handcuffed to each other, that would have been the most awesome thing ever! We have also figured that Damien's outrageous disguise the third time around would have been as Leïto :-)

Well, there's the talk about an US sequel with only David...

As for why Damien would dress up as Leïto, I'm thinking because he'd want to look like a gang member and he'd choose Leïto as his inspiration ;-)

leito's not a gang member, he's just misunderstood because of his ghetto :(
