Right, so I used to consider myself a very casual "Doctor Who" watcher. Turning the TV when it was on because usually I didn't have anything better to do. So imagine my surprise when I suddenly found myself flailing all over the room and refreshing my f-list like mad just to see everyone else flailing too. And what an amazing feeling that is! :-)

What made you flail? I've been watching the Doctor for a while now - but I haven't seen the season without Martha yet.

I'm not going to spoil it for you, then. We've just had the first part of the 4th season finale air over here yesterday, and I'll just say that it ended on a highly unexpected note. Overall it was a pretty good season, so you will enjoy watching it.
