My two-and-a-half-week long holiday is almost over :sigh: It was a good one, though, so I'll at least be well-rested when I go back to work.

During my free time, I finally got around to watching "The Black Donnellys" (including the mysterious 13th episode, which actually turned out to be ep 2.5).

It's a pretty good show, for something I've only downloaded because Kirk Acevedo's in it. He wasn't in enough scenes to make me entirely happy, but there were a bunch of other interesting characters, so it's not like I would find myself bored when he wasn't on the screen. I can't believe he yet again managed to remain entirely clothed for the whole series, though. After "Oz", when I do believe he was contractually obliged never to wear sleeves, it's always such a letdown to see his gorgeous body covered :sigh:

Speaking of "Oz," as usual where there's one Ozite, the others wil follow, and so in "The Black Donnellys" I spotted Nappa, Ryan's father, and officer Murphy. The last guest star in particular brought a smile to my face.

I was disappointed by the ending, however. I do realise that the writers were counting on the show being continued after the first 13 episodes and that's why they didn't conclude the plot, but I still hoped for more resolution than I got.

I also played a lot of Sims. Bon Voyage introduced the most awesome beaches, which made playing the Lost characters' sims so much more enjoyable :-)

I didn't read any fic. The lack of canon for next generation HP, which seemed so refreshing at the begining, turned out to be a hindrance after all. My reason for reading fanfic has always been my love for a particular character and wanting to get more of them. So reading stories about a multitude of various characters whose only common feature is that they are called Scorpius Malfoy quickly lost its charm. And the other fandoms I'm interested in ("Kyle XY", "Veronica Mars") are pretty dead as far as slash goes.

I think I will finally have to branch out and check out "Supernatural" fanfic. Dean is nice enough to look at, maybe I'll find I like reading about him too...

And finally, I watched the season premiere of "Prison Break"

"You killed my father." Now why does that sound so familiar? ;-)

So yeah, Michael/Mahone HoYay was off the charts. I'm not sure how happy I am about the overall plot developments, but it's not like I ever cared about "Prison Break" mytharc all that much anyway.

What I did NOT like was the T-Bag subplot - as if a white supremacist like him would ever prostrate himself before a black guy :eyeroll: I know it's all about survival, but still, I'd appreciate it if the writers stopped changing T-Bags character whenever it suited them. It's like the T-Bag going straight the moment he's free thing from the second season.
