Dec. 24th, 2011 02:24 pmMERRY CHRISTMAS!
It's my first Christmas that I'm not spending with my family in Poland (damn you, work!). I'm almost set, though - I've got red borsch and frozen uszka. I've decided not to buy carp because I figured I wouldn't be able to eat it all on my own, but I will prepare herring in cream, so
that'll be two out of three dishes I usually eat on Christmas Eve. I have to say I was impressed that they are selling carp at Tesco, now if they only offered it in pieces rather than whole. Then again, it could have been worse, they could only have had live ones :-)
Hope everyone has a great holiday!
