movie and stuff

I went to see From Paris With Love today. It was a lot of fun, even if the plot was somewhat incoherent. It's really amazing what a difference a good action director makes - Pierre Morel managed to make the film feel like it's all frenetic action all the time even though he only had John Travolta (or rather his stunt man) to do the fighting or chase suspects across rooftops. The Digital Factory and Europa Corp intros at the beginning made me grin so much :-)

In other news, I'm having the clips removed tomorrow. I can't wait - it's kinda strange to be stapled together (seriously, they look like regular office staples). Here's hoping the hospital clip remover works far better than an office staple remover ;-)

things that are awesome

OMG! Sky 1 has just shown a previously unaired episode from the first season of "Fringe" that is like an Oz reunion - Kirk Acevedo plays the recurring character Charlie Francis, and there are not one but two Oz guest stars - Timmy Kirk (playing a priest to boot!) and Cyril O'Reily (who's first shown practising boxing!).

What's also awesome, I got "The Bro Code" book and as homophobic and mysoginistic it is, some of the more random rules are quite hilarious. For example Article 93 states: "Bros don't speak French to one another." Hee!
