David finally got married! There’s a new interview with him over on http://www.misterparkour.com/, and while he’s not saying anything new, it’s worth watching for the random parkour footage shown throughout (including a real time version of the manpower gap jump from B13), and to admire his wedding band ;-)
His getting married explains so much! Why he sounds so depressed in the book, for example. Generally he seems to get depressed when he’s stressed out, but I couldn’t figure out what he had to be stressed about when the book was being finished. B13U was done, Prince of Persia was done, so what the hell? A wedding, though, makes perfect sense!
Hmm, wonder who was the best man. His brother, probably, otherwise it’d have been a fight to the death, and while I have no doubt Cyril could kick all the other contenders’ asses, he might have had trouble catching them in order to do so ;-)
Ooh, and in David’s recent written interview, when he was rambling about music and cooking, he must have had the wedding on his mind! Heh, I wonder if the fact he mentioned Thailand in that same interview means he actually took Doreen there for the honeymoon? Because if he did then I don’t know if it’s the most LOL-worthy thing ever, or a *gasp* how dare he?! :giggles:
