HP drabble

Once again I've written something I have no idea where to put, so it's ending up here. It's a drabble about Draco Malfoy's first word, inspired by "The Looong Muggle Survey by Draco Malfoy" I've read on Lorielen's site. See, while most of the answers in the survey I've found pure genius, especially number 35 (Quick, what would you do if I punched you? "Owl Father and Cruciatus you to keep me entertained until he arrives and skins you alive.") :-), I just don't agree about what his first word was. So, here's my take on it ;-)

Although most people wouldn't believe that, Draco's first word was actually "Avada." The reason for it was quite prosaic - the last 16 months before Voldemort has been destroyed by the Potter brat were a hectic time for both the aurors and the Death Eaters, and with the Dark Lord calling on his servants without notice at all times of day or night, arranging for proper child-care was downright impossible. Lucius would've rather died than left his son and heir with the incompetent house-elves, so Draco spent quite a lot of time during his first year on Earth strapped securely to his father's back, gurgling happily and playing with Lucius's hair while curses were flying all around them.

Therefore, "Avada" - a year-old child couldn't possibly be expected to pronounce "Kedavra" after all.
